The Transformance Communiqué
Whether you’re a longtime reader or this is the first time you’re seeing our newsletter, I am so excited you’re here! The Transformance Communiqué is our formerly monthly and now bi-weekly newsletter. As the editor of this publication, it is my mission to bring you valuable information straight to your inbox.
The content Mike, Transformance Advisors’ CEO, our partners, and I create and find is designed to bring you the knowledge you can use every day, along with ideas, new techniques, and messages from industry leaders.
Top 5 Reasons to Subscribe to the Transformance Communiqué
1. Educational Content
Most of the articles featured in the Transformance Communiqué are written by Transformance Advisors staff, clients, and students. Our collaborative efforts allow us to bring you a range of useful information from respected leaders in every industry. Several articles written by the Transformance Advisors team are even included in courses we teach, like our Certified Lean Apprentice class. Our courses are also used as part of a Masters program at several universities which can be costly to attend, but when you sign up for the Transformance Communiqué, you get access to this content free of charge!
2. Trusted Sources
You most likely subscribe to several other newsletters and are constantly getting “junk” in your inbox. We don’t want to send you something you don’t want to read. The articles and videos included in the Communiqué are all vetted by us and only come from sources we trust. Our selection process takes time, as well. For every article and every video we recommend to you, we’ve read or watched at least 10 other options to make sure there isn’t a better option out there.
3. TRAILS
Our newsletter’s main focus is to provide readers with educational and informative content, but sometimes we like to include a few “fun” items for you. You can recognize these types of posts by remembering TRAILS:
Thoughts
Mike and I occasionally drop in with our own thoughts on industry happenings, best practices, new ideas, and more.
Readers
We have so many amazing readers and love to recognize them! You’ll be seeing more features on some really cool people, maybe even yourself!
Activities
Curious about what I like to do when I’m not working, or where Mike is off to next? If we ever find ourselves doing something extra interesting, you can bet you’ll find it here!
Interests
You may already know, but both Mike and I are outdoorsy and love finding new trails all over the country to share with you. If you have any trail suggestions, send them to me here. I love exploring new areas and sharing fun trails with you all.
Local Finds
Transformance Advisors’ headquarters are in Boulder, CO and I’ll be dropping in some of my favorite local experiences for those who live in the Northern Colorado area. Who knows, maybe we’ll release a visitor’s guide in the future, too.
Surprises
If I told you now what surprises you can expect to find, that would ruin all the fun! I’ll give you a hint: We love giving back and giving away…
4. Important Dates and Reminders
Not only do we bring you the best industry updates and ideas, but we also find great conferences, events, and talks all across the country that we think our readers would like to know about. For example, we’ll be going to the 2024 Colorado Lean Network Summit in Denver on October 18th and would love to see you there! Mike will be giving a lightning talk and we’ll have a booth there where you can come talk to Mike and me.
If you’ve gone through any of our certification programs, they have a 5-year maintenance and renewal requirement. We include renewal reminders in a few issues a year. Plus, the content in the Transformance Communiqué will often count towards your maintenance points. Much of the material we bring you will often help you run better improvement projects that also count for maintenance points!
5. Conversation-Worthy Ideas
The Transformance Communiqué is written with YOU in mind. We want you to be able to use this newsletter as a valuable, professional resource. We get several replies from readers, but the most common response we see is, “I forwarded that article to my boss with the suggestion that we adjust our process to leverage the great ideas you provided.” This is my favorite response to get, too. Knowing that the work I do can help others spur ideas, elevate projects, and be seen as a thought leader within their own company is very rewarding.
